you see, there is a someone who apparently doesn't know all the meanings of punk... and i hope that someone would know what the word means before she goes on and make smart alecky comments.... if she would just take time to read this then maybe she'd understand....

what i mean is that our vacation time is limited and it is decreasing day by day

anyway it's april fools day

but that holiday is so lame now

so i think that only a few celebrate it

today i got news that my cousin and friend roxanne will be coming back from US and will be staying and studying like we used to. but why do i have some thing lagging in my mind? i dunno why. it's just maybe we both changed and we won't get along anymore. that's what i'm thinking. or maybe it will be the usual, we fight, we get along, we laugh. but i really hate fighting. so i'm kinda nervous. sometimes i think too much but shouldn't i be happy for her and myself that my friend will be coming back??? i mean what should i really do when the time comes and she's back. . . sigh. . . why do people have to migrate anyway?! like ciara, for instance she's migrating to japan in 6 days, yup at april 7. so when she leaves there's another friend who'll come back... geez, why does life have to be like this? it's so complicated. and sometimes you'll only miss the people once they're gone and most of the time this is true. sigh... i'm getting way dramatic here!

you know why i picked this song?

because i want to play the bass guitar but my parents don't like to, so i guess i'm stuck with my keyboards, no offense to the keyboards but i like to play bass better, but i just gotta deal and besides i can't lie around all summer because i'd get fat and i won't learn something, so it's better to learn during this vacation. i just have to make use of what i have. geez.... if my parents heard this they'll probably lecure me, so what, they already did...

What's a rock star's worst nightmare? Hanging out with his mom and GL. We barged in on Evan during one of his few days off to learn about everything Evan he didn't want you to know! (New Kids on the Block CDs, Evan? "It was third grade!")
Age: 19.
Hometown: Born and raised in Baltimore, MD

Claim to fame: Lead guitarist and back up singer for Avril Lavigne. Starting young: When he was two, Evan started turning over pots and pans and banging on them. For Hanukah, his grandparents bought him a Sesame Street drum set, which lasted him until he was four when he got the real thing.

Evan's first band: In seventh grade, Evan got his first break as a drummer for a band called The Suburbanites. When Evan was in tenth grade, he formed his own band with his friend Matt, Spinfire. Evan was the lead guitar and singer for Spinfire until they broke up in fall 2002. "I was gigging out five nights a week until 3 am in the morning then waking up for class at 7 am. But I graduated (from Baltimore's elite McDonogh School) and even got Most Improved student at graduation!"

Evan's other gig: To earn extra cash, Evan worked as a deck hand on the cruise boat line his parents own. "I would love to say it was hard work but I spent most of my time tanning!"

Evan's (almost) college career: Evan has been accept to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston twice (once for drums and once for guitar) and was just about to enroll when he was hired to play for Avril's band.

How Evan Avril hooked up (no, not like that): Evan had been unofficially working with a friend at Arista Records on Spinfire for years when the friend instant messaged Evan, telling him that Arista had just signed Avril. The friend told Evan they were looking for a guitarist to tour with Avril, did he know anyone that would be interested? "I was like 'Are you kidding? Me!" They sent me Avril's CD and I had three days to learn it. When I auditioned in NYC, they told me that night that I had the job and basically I had a week to pack up my stuff, drop out of Berklee and go on tour."

Evan, write on: "I write a lot of catchy alternative rock stuff. I already have written two albums worth of material just since I've been on tour with Avril.

Will he give Avril songs? "Nope, they're mine! But we have collaborated on a few things for her next album. We have an amazing writing relationship."

And speaking of which Evan on Avril:
Getting the band back together: There are a ton of rumors that Evan plans to leave Avril, get back together with his old Spinfire bandmate, Matt, and form a new band. "I hear that everywhere! Matt and I still jam but no secret plans! Maybe one day in the future..."

Evan on Avril: "We have this high energy, intense relationship that I never thought could be possible. She's my best friend on and off stage. I can talk to her about anything, she can talk to me about anything. We have great chemistry."

So does that mean...: "No, we aren't dating! It's not like that. But sometimes I'll see us on TV and I understand why people think we are together."

The real shortcut into Avril's heart? "Make her mozzarella and tomatoes with basil, olive oil and salt. That's her weakness!"

Back to Evan:
Evan on his real on and off GF: "I've been in a long-term relationship for the past couple years but we're in a gray area right now. If you want to make a relationship work, you need to be willing to be there and be giving all the times and that's hard when you are touring. I want to give my girlfriend what she deserves—and that's someone who is around."

What's he looks for in a girl: "Intelligence, a good personality & that's huge to me. Yes, I like girls who look good but if they don't have the right personality for me, I won't even give them a second glance. I'll talk to them as a friend but if you're shallow, social status or money-driven, I don't play any of those games. I want substance with someone. Someone who can emotionally support me, someone I can talk to. I want a real 50/50 relationship.
We hear your true love is ranch dressing. "That's just when I am at home, actually! My mom is a, uh, different kind of cook. I put ranch dressing on everything to make it edible!"

And we hear you have a serious love of suitcase packing. "I'm a bit obsessive-compulsive. I have to stay organized! I have wrinkle release spray and special spots for everything. If I don't take care of your suitcase, it turns into a big pile of junk. It works like a factory in there.

And a serious love of hair products (Evan has a whole wall of them). Avril and my mom always tell people I take so much time to do my hair but all I do is scrunch in some Bed Head hair gel and I'm done! I swear!

Rumor has it you're about to get a tattoo. "I am open to it, I want to wait until it's the right thing. I don't want to be some college kid who just gets barb wire and thinks it looks cool. Maybe when I get signed in my own band, I'll get that tattooed on myself. It needs to be something that matters.

You did appearance on Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Any other acting ambitions? Growing up I had such a crush on Melissa Joan Hart! I was totally into watching her on Clarissa on Nickelodeon. But I am not sure if I'll be doing any more acting!

His biggest trip about fame: I remember a year ago, sitting on the couch with my friends, watching the MTV Video Music Awards. This year, I was performing on the MTV Video Music Awards. It was so weird. It's not a bad weird or a good weird, just weird.
